Report on the Holiday Boutique for Fire Families

Well the Holiday Boutique this Saturday was AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, SPLENDIFEROUS, OUTSTANDINGLY FABULOULISHNESS!!!!!!

I walked in Saturday morning and just stood there STUNNED. My sister, Kathryn, and her team of angels had wrought a MIRACLE. It was HUGE!!!! And such wonderful, beautiful things. Man, oh, man. It was a miracle to behold. I couldn’t WAIT for the families to come.

And come they did!!! And lots of hugs, tears, and discovery unfolded. I cannot tell you all the stories but I’ll share some.

One family came in and ran out to tell me they had found a ceramic Christmas tree just like the one their grandma had made them.

Another mom, so tired when she went in, just stood in tears holding a round tin — just like the one she had had and had decorated around it for her whole kitchen. I could go on and on with the discoveries!

And the kids were GAGA! Oh, it was too wonderful for words.

So thank you to each and everyone of you who donated, who worked so hard, and who prayed over this amazing event. God’s hand was in this work this day.
And a huge STANDING OVATION from the entire community for my sister, the tireless Kathryn Humberstone who helped bring another miracle of love and caring to our community.

(and let us all pray she does not have to do a THIRD!!!
