K - after I sent the e-mail on the horror story of the near-scamp on fire clean-up, I ran into my buddy Kevin Burgess from the company Generation Contracting and Emergency Services. (800-377-9914, x. 230 at generationcontracting.com
Now these guys showed up at the evacuation center and worked tirelessly (no pay - strictly volunteering) and brought in air purifiers, you name it, and worked like crazy to help out. After the center closed, they went to work with their company doing fire restoration work. I referred them to many people who have been very happy with them. So I’m recommending them to all. These are FINE people who are fair and honest and do great work. If you’re looking for these services, check them out.
