Concert and ‘Thank You’ Event - Old Poway Park Saturday Nov. 10th - FREE

ATTENTION EVERYONE - THIS IS OUR CHANCE AS A COMMUNITY TO COME OUT AND THANK ALL THOSE WHO PROTECTED OUR CITY AND HELPED THE RESIDENTS.

Bring a blanket or chair and come out to Old Poway Park on Sat., Nov. 10 from 1-5pm for a free concert, “Rockin’ for Relief”. The concert will raise donations for the Rotary Foundation Fire Fund to support Poway’s recent fire victims.
Enjoy live music by bands PARADISE featuring Jack Ramsey, and FULL CIRCLE. Food will be provided by Fleming’s Steakhouse’s own Chris Gardner. Ride your bike along the renowned Tour de Poway course to show your support.
The Kiwanis Club of Poway will have a 3′ x 20′ banner made that says “Thank You ALL Disaster Service Workers” which includes Firefighters, Sheriffs, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), City staff and the large volume of volunteers that have worked together during and in the aftermath of this disaster. It will be available for anyone to sign. When you sign the banner you will receive a ‘Thank You’ ribbon to show your community support. The signed banner will be given to the City for display on the Poway Community Library.
