Clean-up Crews

Dear CFRT:

As you recall, my church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - the Mormons) is mounting a major effort at clean-up and work. With that going, though, there is still more work to be done!! Many of you have expressed an interest in helping with clean-up and work efforts.

We have a volunteer to help coordinate clean-up orders. Jeff Borra (a graduate of last year’s Poway Community Leadership Institute) is will to act as the clean up Czar!!! He will coordinate all other work efforts going on . . .

So . . . .

1. If you have volunteers who are willing to assist with clean up and work, contact Jeff immediately and let him know how many volunteers you have and what days/times you can work. Please note that all volunteers under the age of 18 must be supervised.

2. Jeff will receive the phone calls or e-mails from families requesting the help. He will then contact you to assign you a work order.

3. Please observe safety rules - gloves, goggles, good shoes, face masks, etc.

Limitations:
We can’t remove trees or large trunks.
We can provide labor but not the materials needed for the above services.
We do not have the resources to haul debris away.
We can’t use water to clean soot and debris that may go into the public drains due to govt regulations
Work requests will be handled in order of urgency.

4. Do not work until the form is signed by the homeowner. This includes a waiver to protect you.

5. Remember - your YOUR organization is responsible for this work effort. Jeff is merely connecting the needs with the volunteers.

MANY THANKS TO JEFF!!!!

ALL OTHER TEAM MEMBERS — REPORT ANY FAMILY NEEDS TO JEFF SO THESE VOLUNTEERS CAN HELP!!
